Google Puts Talk In Gmail

GmailGoogle has integrated two of its products that I like the most, Talk and Gmail.  I switched over to Gmail to manage all of my email about 6 months ago and it has been the best move I’ve made.  It simplified having everything in one place since my Outlook setup was getting pretty complicated.

I have multiple businesses that require multiple email addresses so I needed to be able to come up with an easy way of managing that.  When Google added the feature to be able to send from multiple email addresses other than the @gmail.com address, that finalized the switch over for me.  This allowed me to send emails from Gmail from my business addresses.

Apple 1GB iPod Nano

The New Nano
Looks like Apple had taken yet another step forward to separate themselves from the competition.  They now are offering a small version of the Apple iPod Nano, a 1GB version of it.

Apple_ipod_nanoIt’s not like they don’t already have 70 percent market share in the U.S.  I guess one issue they may be addressing with the lower end models is their international market, which they only have about a 40 percent market share.

The new 1GB Nano, the sleek iPod model that won rave reviews
from critics and consumers when it was introduced last September, was
priced at $149.

The 2-gigabyte Nano sells for $199 and holds about 500  songs; a 4-gigabyte model sells for $249.

An interesting fact that recent studies suggest only a third of all U.S.
households have a digital music player, suggesting that the market
opportunity for the iPod is greater than its market share suggests.
